TOGETHER WE RUN is a platform for organizing charity runathons.

Together We Run was started as just a series of runathons across the South. It is organized by a group of UVA students who were disgusted by the Neo-Nazi/White Supremacist protests that occurred in Charlottesville in August and wanted to do something useful with their winter break. Read more about their story here.

What's a runathon?

A runathon is an event in which participants run as many miles as they can in a given time period. These events will take place over three hours.

You have the ability to raise your own money by getting friends and family to sponsor each mile you run! Just buy a ticket and we will send you a link that you  can use to start collecting commitments.

Frequently Asked Questions

I want to run. How do I get people to sponsor my run?

Once you buy a ticket, we will send you an email with a link that will allow you to create an Anython account for our event. With this account, you will be able to send a link to friends, family, and fans (we know you have them) that will allow them to pledge money for each mile you complete at the runathon.

I want to RUN BUT I DON'T live near any of the events...

That's why we made Together We Run: United States. This is our remote runathon. There's no event, we just ask participants to log their miles each week leading up to December 2nd. This way, people all across the country can show their support for the cause.

I want to help but I don't want to run. What can I do?

That's totally fine! There's still a lot you can do.  First, you can choose to sponsor one of the many runners for each mile they run.  You can do that here. Second, you can share this event with all of your friends on Facebook here.
